Because We Are Together

Because we are together is written by JittiRain and I got inspired to read this book by the series- Together the series.

I loved both the series and the book but I prefer the book over the series because firstly, obviously it is more detailed than the series and secondly for the ending in the series was very disappointing in contrast to the lovely ending in the book.

The book is originally written in Thai and I have read the English translation of it so it has around 538 pages.

The story is basically about two boys Tine and Sarawat. Tine get confessed to by Green who is gay and becomes extremely clingy to him to protect himself from Green, Tine asks Sarawat to fake flirt with him which turns to be something much more exciting.

The book is mostly written in Tine’s point of view, while two chapters are in Sarawat’s point of view. It is so exciting to read about how things are happening and we can actually see their relationship developing and get an insight of their feeling.

I loved this book so much that I can read it all over again anytime, same goes for the series I can watch it all over again because of the wonderful acting and scenes, and the way it is depicted maybe skipping the ending.

The book is very genuine and sweet, all the scenes that happen between the protagonists is very sweet and charming, also the scenes with their friends is exciting and entertaining the best part of the book is that nothing is overexaggerated or over dramatic, many things keep on happening but its genuine and relatable.

Since this book is written in first person its hard to tell about my favourite character but I will still go with Sarawat because of the dialogues he says, his genuine care and love. I love tine as well because since the book is written considering him I can fully relate to things he say and thinks and the way he acts and of course he is so cute.

I love this book so much that I would highly recommend anyone to read it and of course to watch the series too, maybe the series first because then it becomes much more relatable.

The Canterville Ghost

The Canterville Ghost is written by Oscar Wilde, published by Sahni Publications, 2013 edition. The book is around 100 pages , having 7 chapters and costing 75 Rupees.

This story is having humor and horror, but more of humor.

The story of ‘the canterville ghost’ takes place in the Canterville chase, the ghost of Sir Simon haunts the place and appears just before the death of members of the canterville family.

The house is purchased by Mr. Otis an American minister. He moves in the house and are greeted by lightening and blood stain in the living room.

Washington is the eldest of the Otis children, then their is Virginia and the twins often known as ‘star and stripe’.

The story is about Sir Simon multiple attempts to scare away the Otis family but is harassed by the twins. It tells the events dramatically about the ghost attempts and finally the ghost is set free for permanent sleep with a beautiful message of life and death.

The story keeps you thrilled and entertained till the end, all the events are funny with a beautiful ending, I recommend to read and enjoy this book.
